Recipe: Farmer's Steak Sandwich

This juicy steak sandwich is layered with a tender slice of steak, tomato, lettuce, caramelized onions and mustard.

● BreadVillage German Farmers Bread
● Thin-cut beef steak
● Olive oil
● Tomatoes
● Onion
● Leafy Greens
● Mustard
● Salt and pepper

Caramelized Onion (Optional):
● Onion
● Butter
● Brown Sugar
● Balsamic Vinegar
● Salt & Pepper

● Season beef with salt and pepper
● Cook steak to your liking in a skillet or BBQ with oil over high heat
● Layer leafy greens, tomatoes, onions (or caramelised onions), steak and mustard

Caramelised Onion (Optional):
● Melt butter in a skillet over medium low heat
● Add onions and stir to coat in butter
● Place lid and cover for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until golden
● Add sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper and saute for another 5 minutes
