This Chickpea Sandwich is a bomb loaded with flavor, protein and fiber.
- BreadVillage German Multi-Seed Bread (6g protein, 4g fiber per slice0
- Canned chickpeas, rinsed and drained (tons of protein!)
- Onion, diced
- Tomato, diced
- Avocado, sliced
- Leafy greens
- Onion powder, garlic powder
- Salt and pepper
- Bean sprouts
- Add drained and rinsed chickpeas to a mixing bowl and mash with a fork
- Add mayo, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper and mix with a spoon. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
Toast bread (if desired) and layer the chickpea mix, onions, tomatoes, avocado and leafy greens between two slices of Multi-seed bread.
