This is one of my new favorites. My kitchen smelled wonderful after baking it and I love the rich texture and flavor of this bread. It’s the first time I tried it and will buy it again. My husband said it reminds him of Mallorcan country bread which he was longing for. So it’s a bit in this household.
I purchased the BreadVillage No Yeast Rye out of curiosity, to compare the texture with the yeasted Rye Breads i had purchased. It has a full bodied texture, and tastes like the genuine Rye Bread we eat in when Germany. My husband liked it very much for his Sandwiches.
Very good bread, very flavorful a taste of Germsny for sure.
